sealskinz owners,

I have their thick gloves and their waterproof socks which I got at the HOYS. I used them both for a weeks whale watching on a very cold sailing ship in Norway and they were brilliant! I also hack and school in the gloves, they are a little thick but they keep you lovely and warm.

what are the sizings like?
I dont like thick gloves because they get in the way...but I think they have a thinner style which should keep my warm and dry.

I have the pimple palm ones which are fab - I never thought woolly gloves could actually be waterproof

I have a pair of gloves with pimples too. They are brilliant. I have done a 20 mile endurance ride in the pouring rain and my hands were the only thing that was dry. I was quite literally soaked to the skin everywhere else. I ended up throwing away my knickers as the bottom half had absorbed dye from the saddle and the top half was a sort of pink colour due to the colour running from cheao red polo shirt I was wearing. I had a good quality waterproof jacket on too!!

Roll on a wider sealskinz range!!

We have the thick ones as got them at Trade price - personally would never bother again - both pairs, mine and OH's have worn through within 1 winter and I rarely wear gloves

Glad I only paid trade price

I'm on second pair of ultra grip / pimple type ones...First pair lasted a winter and half, whcih I think is really quite good as I do wer them a lot. I wear them for all yard work and riding inc hunting, for which I think they are great! I got them from Mole Valley Farmers. They do loose a bit of the waterproofness over time, like inthe joins on the thumb and finger, but still worth it in my view

I also have the equestrian ones. They keep your hands warmer but also do make them "sweat" a bit in my experience and I also find them a bit bulky, so they have only been used for v cold hunting days. Strangley I got them from a bike shop...

I have the pimple gloves they are great at keeping your hands dry,but do not keep your hands warm when its very cold.

i also have the riding gloves they are fantastic and warm great for hacking in freezing weather.

i also have the skip hat with pull down ear flaps its fantastic keeps you dry and lovely and warm .

ive had all these products for 4 years now , i love them , no complaints from me .
