Well we survived Holdenby (dressage a respectable (for us) 39.5, 1 show jump down, clear XC) so that is the BE season officially finished for us. Horse and rider both in one piece with 21 weeks to go until we start all over again at Isleham in March - at least that is the plan.
So feeling reflective now...
High points of the season - India going clear XC in her first Novice at Goring and Lexi successfully making the step up to PN.
Low points - getting a 52.5 dressage on Lexi at Purston (breaking the family record for an all time low) and obviously India's injury.
Thing we are looking forward to - not having to get up and exercise horses before work to keep their fitness up, teaching Merry to jump, getting Lexi's show jumping up to BE Novice level ready for next year and best of all, India's baby next May (fingers crossed).
Anyone else?
