Seat saver saved my seat!

I've got 2 of the gel out ones. They are brilliant and also help prevent sore backs as they are squidgy I'm getting one for all my saddles as I can afford them.
 
Just ordered one of these after nearly ending up on the floor after an eek pheasant moment the other week (sods law just after my friend said we hadn't had any birds fly up....!)

Here's to hoping it will save me during the more sticky moments
 
I had one but couldn't get the thing clipped properly so constantly worried it would dig into horses back. It also gave me clammy butt in summer :) but can't deny felt secure in it!!
 
After hitting the deck when riding an ex racer a couple of months back (who also spooked in the school and tanked off with me) I'm seriously considering getting one of these now!

What a great product. I was eyeballing the horses gel pad the ther day and was thinking it'd be really useful if I could stick it to the seat of the saddle to save my butt instead of underneath to protect his back:o didn't realise there already was a human version already available. :)
 
I bought one of these a few years ago, the best thing i have ever bought! saved me from going head first into a dry stone wall at full on 'rodeo mode' as well as countless other times. Fantastic piece of kit. They dont literally prevent you from ever falling off, but you sure wont slip off with one on! Reckon only way to fall off is when the horse launches you into orbit! :D
 
I have a gel pad under saddle which is brilliant, this looks like a good idea.

I predict one day in the future when we are all riding in silver spandex spacesuits that they'll just make saddles and all other tack out of magical sticky gel!

ahahha, I am feeling the same way now, pick up my saddle and its covered in attachments, just missing the heated seats button :p

Would totally depend on the fall I guess. You aren't strapped in ;) you just cant slide about. For example if the horse took a tumble over a jump, you'd still come out the saddle easily enough, as its not really a slide to one side. But if the horse reared and was coming over on you - you'd have to push away from the saddle rather than just slide off.
