second clip already????

as title really, only clipped my horsey 2 weeks ago.... but opening meet on sat and she's looking a bit fuzzy! anyone else cliped twice already?

Thought this would happen to mine so waiting till this weekend to clip first time when it is colder so I can get the rugs on and hopefully it won't grow back too quickly!

Mine has been done 3 times already, first clip mid august (eventing) and again sept, then at the weekend.
Will be due again in around 3 weeks I should think.

Just about to clip one of the racers for the second time. Might leave him another week though as he isn't racing until the 9th of Nov. I've got far too many to do for racing this week and not enough time to do them lol!

Pleased to have founf this I though i was going mad, doing my 2nd clip on my TB on friday who doesnt usually get much of a winter coat, never seen her as woolly!! Do they know something we dont lol!!!

neither of mine have grown a coat at all they havent even molted out of their summer coats... maybe my horses are a bit strange but not even missy who is 3 who usually turns into a bear and she hasnt grown much of a coat either... hmmm

My retired show horse who is french has no winter coat what so ever. I had a long converstion with him last night, explaining he is to winter out for the first time ever due to health issues and he must grow a coat. It's a good job he has a large wardrobe and a comfy field shelter !

On the other hand, the RID x Clyde cob mare has been clipped 3 times, I did her on Sunday and by the time I trimmed her beard her fluffy pants had regrown at the other end !!

Really could do with clipping again but only have Friday to do it and Friday & Sat night its dropping down her to freezing and feeling colder !!! Hunting Sat so feel he needs doing as last clip almost grown out but is it too mean ? will obviously rug appropriate if do it prob with stable rug under outdoor rug (never normally double rug).
