Selling (quick photo choice)

Does anyone share my fears? How would you deal with it?

We are going to put Brocket in H&H (as well as HorseQuest) and this means he is only allowed to have one picture.
We have narrowed down the ones we like to the following - now need to choose just one - which one do you think shows him best?

1

2

3

Thanks

I think number 2 is the nicest one, but would be hard pushed to choose, as they all look pretty good TBH. Hope you find a lovely home for him, he looks like a stunning horse.

I vote 2: I can see why people are saying 1 but for an ad for a show cob I'd be drawn to 2. I also think the composition of photo 2's better. However, if an action shot was taken in an obvious show ring I'd probably go for that one...

He's absolutely gorgeous

, its such a shame you're having to sell

Prefer number 2 , number 1 is nice but he looks a little funny around in his back end( more his flank and hind quarter region) in this picture although im sure he is fine its just this photo gives that impression .

Plus the grass is shorter in the second picture and you can see his hooves .

Well most people like to see some action shots to see how they move, so if you were to use photo 2 could you put your email in the add so people can ask for more photos? 1 or 2 - maybe 1 just as it shows his movement. Good luck selling!

Got to be 1....he moves beautifully for a cob (or any horse!) and it shows what he can do - personal bugbear of mine are ads that say "jumps, dressage" or whatever and there is no sign that the owner has ever got on it (I know that doesn't apply to you, FMM - he is gorgeous!)

Number 2 for me. Set up a photobucket account for him with loads of photos which you can then email the link to prospective people + vids on on Youtube.

But does it really matter surely if you put his nam in it wiil sell him anyway?

That is a good idea about photobucket - hadn't thought of doing that. he got 70% in one of the tests at Keysoe - very accurate and steerable horse - I just had problems remembering the tests!

as a rule of thumb, the picture should show the horse doing what it is being sold for! if you are selling your horse as a show cob then you should pick the photo with him being ridden!

top one - shows his fabulous movement, i would want to see this when looking for a horse to show!

Number 2. It is the only one where you can see some of his feet, and it is a better photo overall as it is not so dark. It also looks slightly more professional than the other two.
