selling trailer on ebay-advice pls

has anyone done this? It seems as though I have to offer a 7 day return on it-so someone could use my trailer for a week and bring it back and I have to refund them! I am not a business seller (although used to be) and althouI emailed them for clarification, I've not heard back. I need rid of the trailer-can anyone confirm that I must offer a 7 day return guarantee?

List it as a classifed rather than an auction. You can then just get your cash and forget about it.

no idea about the 7 day return thing, maybe go and ask on the ebay forums, i have sold a trailer was the oddest sale ever, when seller got it home (devon to liverpool) she had a problem with it, i said fine bring it back and i will refund, funny enough she never did!

I sold mine and it was the easiest thing ever - I had so many messages making me offers before the end of the auction I ended up accepting 1 and he came and gave me the cash and took it without it actually going through ebay!
I think nearing the end I had around 180 watchers it was crazy, If I was to give you advise put every bit of info you can think of on the listing as otherwise youll be answering questions all day about it!

I would just state no returns in the writen bit about it and then they shouldn't really be able to argue with it. Also when they come to get it, get them to sign a thing that says sold as seen, no returns just to cover yourself again.
