Selling your soulmate

Due to financial problems I have had to make the devastating decision to sell my cob. Please tell me this will get easier :( I know I will be in floods when he goes.
I know exactly where your coming from and yes it does get easier... In January I had to sell my horse who I was just starting to get a bond with after stupidly selling my horse of a life time, trailer and 4x4, this followed by loosing my business and house.... ending in me declaring myself bankrupt....

Finally, for me things are starting to get better... no horse yet, but my husband has a job, I'm looking and we have rented a nice house for us both and the dogs. :-) Hopefully a new horsey best friend will not be too far away for me.... oh and a job.... lol

Lots of hugs to you... xxx

Thanks for all your support guys. Unfortunately the other horse is an OTTB who is about 100kg underweight and lame  so only worth meat money at the moment :o

I am slightly less stressed today, as have had more time to think/plan - I only got the letter yesterday.
I have found a cheaper livery yard which allows me to use straw (current YO hates it so on shavings), and which is closer so saving on diesel and bedding. I am going to hopefully get my pills sorted tomorrow so can really get on with finding a job. If I get a job fairly quickly then I can use my savings to pay the debt, at the moment they are paying my livery/rent so don't want to use them until I have some way of saving money again. It's just a case of one thing after another atm and it is all getting on top of me a bit (poorly TB, my own health problems, no job and the the bank!). My mummy is coming down at the weekend to help me go through my finances and see where else I can cut back.

Hopefully I won't have to sell him but I am preparing myself for the worst just in case.

Thanks again for all your support and lovely PM's. I know this forum gets a bit of stick but it is definitely there when you need it :o
