Well my mare has always been sensitive footed, but lately it seems a never ending nightmare!
I have had the vet and the farrier out numerous times when she has smacked her foot larking about or done something.
Anyway, she had come sound but i rode out in walk and the stones got her, now she is pretty sore again!
I would be really interested to hear how some of you cope with a horse who only goes well on soft ground.
What do you do with your horses feet to help them walk on more than one surface?
Do you use pads? boots? anything?
Your experiences would be much appreciated, this is getting beyond with her feet, i would just like to prevent as best i can her getting sore.
She needs some cushioning of some sort, i will be chatting to the farrier next week, but would love to hear how you deal with your sensitive footed horses?
Thanks in advance
