Totally agree with you, SpottedCat. If she was highly marking most of the riders, it doesn't sound like a nationalistic bias. It also implies that she was giving the British team an advantage, but if she was equally high marking to the other team members then that wouldn't be so.How upsetting for them.
I do think the article is disingenuous implying that JLC was 'favouring' the british riders when it also mentions that she was consistently higher across most riders. Unless they provide a full breakdown of all scores for all nationalities, to prove their point, that is simply lazy, sensationalist journalism.
They miscalculated the scores, had the British team joint bronze on the podium, then corrected the scores so the girls had to give their medals back.Enlighten me please, what has happened?![]()
