At the pony day yesterday, the kids were having lunch, (ponies left tied and tacked up, but still in view)
I was watching them, but turned my back for a second to answer a childs questions. I looked back and one of the ponies had whipped his bridle off, from under a head collar, which was still on! :O He looked as proud as anything! How he got the bridle off and kept the head collar on, I will never know!

So, have you horses every made you think "How on earth did you do that?!"

This photo of my youngster always makes me chuckle, not so much of a 'how did you do that moment but a 'wow, that's clever!'

Last night my sister's horse was tied up with his headcollar on, i went away for 2 minutes and when I came back it was round his neck with all the buckles still done up - little munchkin! I also know of a horse that can wriggle out of rugs with them still done up :D

My pony too can get rugs off without undoing the straps...well...not that I'm implying he COULD undo the straps if he wanted, you know what I mean lol!

I don't rug him up now, he doesn't need it, it was me thinking he needed snuggling up warm lol plus every night I left him I was filled with images of straps tangled with legs etc
