I don’t know him and I’ve no idea what he’s like apart from how he comes across on the tv but he’s facing a ban for transporting a dead horse not for anything else.
I know that but it has certainly stopped me being a supporter.

Just confirming his position as a completely unpleasant man. My language would be a lot worse if not for hho wouldn’t be keen
John is a neighbour of mine and unpleasant is not a word I would ever use to describe him. What do you think happens to all the spare racehorses from thousands of yards around the world, perhaps he should advertise them as companions so they can shiver in a field for the rest of their days, we pay for ponies walking dead eyed for hours around riding school arenas so children can learn to ride, horses eventing injured and falling over xc fences on live tv for our entertainment, a horse was killed at the showjumping World Cup finals this year by a vet giving unauthorised drugs without the owners knowledge I can go on and on, we cannot demonise one part of the horse industry when we are all involved in the rest of it. Racehorses have owners it’s their responsibility to care for them too. As for him moving a horses body that uncovered by accident, no one blinks an eyelid at a dead cow or sheep being moved down the road in a tractor bucket, or baby cows being taken days old from their mothers for the dairy industry. Complete over reaction.

And people would definitely blink an eyelid!!
Round here no one would look twice. Fallen stock gets left roadside to be collected or if near the kennels can turn up on a Manitou.
@Clover Girl I’m not actually that bothered about the transportation, a bit but in the grand scheme of things it’s nothing compared to swapping microchips.

Last time I posted about owners not giving a hoot about their horses well being, people told me that it wasn't
true, they weren't just there to drink champagne...

The trainers do care, oh yes they do, some of them anyway.

The only person how really cares are the lads but they can't save them all either.

Still, i am not surprised....
