Best bet is a diy concrete job, but depending on how deep the holes are even the quick drying stuff might take too long, so that might be a summer job when you don't need it overnight. Thankyou i think i'll try the hay for now not sure if the concrete will set i'll try it tho :) I picked a stable that had a flat standing outside luckliy i'm surprised more horses haven't been hurt by them.
 
Mats can be slipply ..get some quick mix concrete (wickes ) cover with I piece of old ply for a night ..then next day should be sorted ..cost about £3.50 ;)
