Which do I get?

I have the shortlist down to a Bartl, a Mattes or a Stephens.

Which would be the best? I want as much wither clearance as poss, and does anyone know whether any of those mentioned above have spine clearance?

I'd appreciate any of your personal experiences!

I would go for a cottage craft, much cheaper and just as good. Ive had mine a year now and it still looks like new. It has spine clearence and plenty of clearence over the withers.

Cheers all! Off to ebay with all your suggestions in mind!

I'm slightly limiting my options by being adamant that I want it in brown fur, though I may just stretch to a scrummy 'caramel' coloured one

I got a lovely Le Mieux one from Your Horse Live yesterday. It is really scrummy, and you can also put close cell comfort pads in to convert into a front or rear riser pad (or both) if needed.

I bought my cottage craft one over a year ago for about £20 and it looks absolutely fantastic.
