After all the Snowy weather I was really worried about Millie's weight, she was massive!! I actually thought she might be pregnant and was racking my brains trying to think when she could have got near a Stallion

Today was one of those days were I looked at her and thought 'finally her diet is working'. I actually could see a glimmer of some ribs when I was lunging her, I was beginning to think she was rib-less

What do you think? Is she looking better or is it my imagination?

I need to know your secret!?!? I wish Bodey Cob had dropped that much, you can definitely see a difference, she looks much better. Please do tell what you did?

Well done 3B, grand job! She's so cute.

I know the feeling about ribless ponies..when the physio comes to my pony I ask her when she's doing all her massage and stuff to shout if she finds a rib...

Thank you all

I'm really pleased with hows she's looking now.

Jobo - I'm afraid I go with the 'cruel to be kind' motto, she is basically on the same regime as she gets in the summer. Grazing mask during the day (although she usually gets it off after an hour or so) and starvation patch during the night. She gets half a scoop of Happy Hoof once a day. The grass is pretty poor at the moment.

I would actually rather she was slightly under weight going into spring, she's never had Lami and I want to keep it that way!!

I've posted some more Pingy Pony jumping piccys in PG

Wow! What a difference! I wish there were more people with the common sense you have! i.e to get weight off now before the spring grass meaning that you don't have to worry 'quite' so much over the summer...

CB - I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she ever got Lami as I know it would be totally my fault, I'll still have to work hard to keep it off but I think the hard bits out of the way now!

The amount of people that let their horses go into spring massively over weight shocks me, they seem oblivious to it and do nothing to try and get the weight off, their horse are walking time bombs
