Can she be greying out that early? I thought they were a solid colour, slowly greying out over the years?

She'll have to be weaned off the mare in due course. It's hard for them to carry on feeding during the winter months. She has a half sister who I am hoping to wean her with. It's a fabulous grounding for them. She's traffic proof already, used to dogs, walkers etc.

I still her her (just!). Sadly I lost her dam when she was only 4 months old due to sudden illness. Fortunately I had managed to get them off the forest with another mare that ran with them.

Calli is still a character. Hoping that she'll go back out on the forest soon. Pics won't be recent as she looks totally motheaten at the mo!20231216_113742.jpg
