Shetland lead rein turnout

Hello , hope someone much more knowledgeable can help .

We have a beautiful little Shetland pony who we have had for a year . Typical Shetland personality and very pretty and correct . We are hoping to go to our first show in a few months but can anyone advise on leaders turnout . We have bought matching leaders and riders outfits but I have seen different views on makeup on mums/leaders and also hairnets and earrings .

We are definitely going for the day out and for our little girl to have a fun day out with her pony but would love to be as correctly turned out as possible . We will be doing the m&m lead rein classes .

Ultimately your goal is to present as neat and pretty a picture as possible, but remember the pony is the point and you dont want to be drawing attention away or outshining them!
So makeup and earrings on leader I'd always go for present but subtle, studs not dangly affairs and job interview makeup not night on the town makeup.

Hairnets on rider would depend on hairstyle. If worn in a bun or hair is too short to do otherwise then definitely net. Alternatively two plaited pigtails with matchy ribbons looks smart
