I think it was FFionWinnie asking about fit of these. Mine arrived today and seems to be a pretty good fit on my HW, slightly overweight (on a diet!) cob. It seems really good quality for the money as well. And, if I'm honest, I just love the chicken pattern  Its now one back in its bag as its not cold enough for fat cobs to need rugs yet and I dont want to get any mud on it

Mine came from Hot2Trot Equestrian Clothing. A lot of places had sold out by the time I discovered them. There is a jockey print one as well that I have my eye on!

Dare I compare these to the dreaded onesie :D

Im glad Im not the only one that hates getting new rugs dirty , I buy a new one then leave it in the bag
and use the old manky rugs !

Yes me too!

I had a horrible thought that my three little brown girls might have been requesting one each for Christmas! And yes, we do clip chickens - their wing feathers!

Last night one of them had a ball of dried mud stuck on one of her toes and so I sat down on the step with her on my lap to painstakingly remove it. She is normally a bit restless but while we sat there it got a bit darker and she snuggled up on my fleece sleeve and went to sleep. Ahhhh!

me! i expected these tiny little rugged chickens to be running around, all different colours.
on the other hand i LOVE this rug and want one now!!!! :D

And then a debate on wether its the right time of year to rug chickens or not... :D

I'm disappointed now, I wanted to see chickens in rugs..... ;)

OMG!!!! The mental imagery!!!

* descends in too deep, obscure and unintruded thought to figure out the logistics of making a chicken rug and then getting one on a chicken**

I wish.
