I need two new rugs, one for the baby who has put grown his rain sheet and one for the wb who needs a combo rain sheet....,*wonders off to find the chicken rugs*
 
I know this thread is from last month, but I am just so excited about my chicken rugs arriving, I have managed to persuade OH that he needs one for his mare too.. can't wait!! Anyone still after them, it looks like Rideaway have a good selection of sizes left.
 
I really want one! One of my liveries bought one for their pony, and Alf is very jealous!

My chicken rug stitching came apart at the neck so took it up with Shires who said I could have a refund or a plain blue replacement. Since I only bought it for the chickens I said could I just have some money off and I would get it fixed. Turned out they meant refund and keep the rug. Result!

I hope your horse is enjoying her chickens?? I can't wait to dress mine up...... come on parcelforce man
 
Why would you post these pictures!!!

There is NO WAY I can justify importing this rug to Australia just for the pattern, at all. Nope!

There are no comparable cool ones here though :(

Super lovely of you to offer, but I just remembered I will be in your neck of the woods in early December, postage to Germany would be MUCH more reasonable than to here. And the orange mare does need a new winter rug for next season...

Resurrecting an old thread off the back of the "how many rugs did you buy last year" discussion which has made me decide I am DESPERATE for the lite version (pony would never wear a 200g rug) and they are sold out in 5'9" everywhere :cry:

Ahhh it's not the same! I don't NEED another rug but I WANT a chicken rug. I might have found a company that has in stock but I need to ring them tomorrow as I have been stung before by websites taking money for items they don't have and then are soooo slow to refund.

It's your fault because you put the picture of your girl wearing hers on the other thread and she looks so fab ;)
 
Shires will make more. They would be stupid not to. I only bought it for the the chickens as well, they must have sold loads of chicken rugs to people who didn't need a rug!

Incidentally the neck Velcro stitching came apart on mine and I got a full refund and got to keep the rug so it's literally the best rug I've ever not bought LOL.

The farm shop I work in may have one. I know theres a couple there but they arent combos??
