Hi I bought a fantastic horse 3 weeks ago, everything's been going great. When I bought her she had a fatty lump on her elbow, her owners said she had come in from the field like that and thought she had been kicked. She was never lame and the size of the swelling had reduced. It looked completely healed at the time. I brought her home and after a week or so I was bringing her in from the field (she's out 24/7) and noticed this lump had opened slightly, no heat and no lameness, I have been using green oil antiseptic to keep the flies off. It began to heal again. Today after a ride I checked it, it was fine, I put her out she had a roll and opened it up again! So after googling I think it is a shoe boil! Any advice?
