So Moodle AKA (Maisey) has become a grown up and completed her first event at Stafford on Friday.
We have no left canter yet due to a slightly 'sticky' stifle but she is improving as she becomes fitter but I did know that in a big field at Stafford there would be no chance of getting it!! So we did an ok dressage test.....stayed in the arena, had a wobble on the centre line and nearly a jog in the walk but she was such a good girl and we got a score of 40.
Then onto the SJ where the man in the white box scared her to death and I thought I was a gonna before we'd even jumped!!! Anyway she turned very green, but bearing in mind it is her first competition....ever....we got round with just two poles down......I was a very proud mummy

After the shock of being mounted for the third time...we headed down to the XC where we cleared the practice fence by 5 foot!!!
We set off and she decided that she hadn't really seen a xc jump before! I had to really ride each fence and she looked at everything, we trotted into the combination logs as I really wanted to get round clear and by the end of the course she was properly going
I was worried that she might not be fit enough but she was full of running even at the end
As we went through the finish I shouted 'Wooooo' and she neighed at the same time!! How funny bless her
And a link to the start of the xc.

Looking forward to Eden Valley if it's not cancelled!
