Should full livery be charging this?

To me also, full means full. Being charged extra implies "part" ... I have paid for full livery in the past. It was not cheap. I could basically forget I had a horse. I'd turn up and the mane had been pulled whether I liked it or not, tack cleaned, etc ...

Holding the horse for vet/farrier was not included when I was on full livery, but it was only like a tenner. £25 seems a wee bit steep.

I would expect it to be included in the price. When I had liveries that were part or full I would just deal with it myself I wouldn't have even thought to charge extra .

£25?! Blow me! That’s obscene. My horse literally would stand in his box, vet would go in, inject, sign passport, leave. Unless the horse is a sod for needles, I would be very unhappy with this, particularly if it isn’t mentioned in your contract.

Should have added that I'm relieved that Hermosa's YO doesn't charge for this. Farrier showed up at the yard an hour early today, but I had no idea until I got there, at the scheduled time, and my friend was like, "He's been and gone." I was like, Oh, great, okay. I was happy YO and friend had dealt with my horse, but still. If the yard charged, I would need a word with the farrier. I live 30-40 minutes away (depending on how sh1t the traffic is, and it's always sh1t), and I work until the time I need to leave.
