H is getting very sweaty when ridden atm (poss another symptom of cushings see my other thread)

Now I know it's been unseasonably warm but am wondering if I should full clip or stick with a blanket ad usual

He can feel the cold and won't wear a neck cover or neck rug and I only ride 3-4 times a week but he does work quite hard when ridden so wonder if he will be more comfortable with a full clip but I don't want to be deemed as cruel/ he be miserable when he's not being ridden.

He does have a bigger wardrobe than I do but just worried he will be miserable plus he needs sedating by vet so has to be done once only!

I personally wouldn't take the neck hair off if they weren't going to have a neck cover back on, which is the case with both a full and blanket clip... But do as you please, only you know what is best for your horse.

I would give the usual blanket clip, possibly go a little higher than normal but keep his back warm by leaving the hair on it.
I rode one of mine today, mainly walking and he was damp when I finished as it is so mild, he does not have cushings, has a very fine short coat and has a small clip which is nearly grown out, I will be doing a blanket on him as I am sure it will get colder soon.
