Micah just showed me just how big he can buck. Each time I was asking for canter and twice he bucked that big he unseated me!! I told him off and asked again and he cantered off as good as gold. He was just a little excited and showing how much fun he was having.

So how come I came home grinning like a cheshire cat??

Especially when I can't afford to come off with my ankle

lmao oh he did that the other day and I laughed but cringed too it was like a hand stand

Obviously I am VERY pleased I stayed on but I hadn't really considered that when I was grinning (hard to explain) I think it might be just having a horse that I feel safe(ish) on

but that is happy and perfectly sound. Soundness has been a problem for such a long time. Oh and I guess I'm pleased that he didn't do it the next time after I had told him off.

I think it's quite funny too. My last horse used to bronc randomly - sometimes in the school, sometimes on a hack - you never had any warning. It always had me in hysterics - I think that was all that kept me on sometimes.

Glad your pony is feeling well

Perhaps it is the adrenaline rush and euphoria at having stayed on??

Voice of experience here, when I have been bucked, galloped off, etc and not fallen off

Yes, I too grin from ear to ear - people think I'm having fun, I think I'm having fun - who knows - maybe I am ??
