i liked this rescues page quite a while ago, but to me its all very strange.
It seems like every fortnight or so they go off and come back with a fair few horses from the meat man.
The turnover looks very suspicious, one pony was there a week, all tacked up still underwieght and off to make a little girls dreams come true. How can this be right? Thats no time at all to check the horse out or evan begin to get to know if it has any issues, let alone do a home check.
The rate of turnover to me just sounds like a conveyor belt. Doubtless some horses or ponies may indeed go off and live happily ever after,but equally doubtless is the fact that some will go back into the downward spiral leading to more suffering of back to the queue they came from in the first place. I really don t get this woman at all. she sounds like a raving idealist who at the very least is extremely naive.

Well according to the AHAR exposed page today on FB the Dept of Ag have found horse carcasses and strangles at AHARs premises!!

Just looked, its all pretty horrendous! Too many animals altogether, they mustv bought about 100 off the meatman recently according to the AHAR page posts
