their horses wearing a fly veil??
Usually for horses that are sensitive to sound, and in extreme cases the put cotton wool in ears the fly veil over the top, works wonders and why let a horse be upset by something if you can avoid it![]()
PS - Not just showjumpers wear them now , I use mine for BD aswell but you are only to use them in summer months and outdoors![]()
That is interesting because there are often ''odd'' noises in indoor arenas particularly when windy--creaking doors, and rain on the roofs can sound very loud and cause distractions etc
I honestly don't think they have much of a place in lower levels, although my sister once bought me a lovely chavvy one, I don't think Oshk was too pleased.

How do flys catch up with a horse that is going around a jumping coarse?????? out side the ring yes but not jumping.![]()
