Show Jumping is better than Eventing.

Well, it's certainly chavvier. Fact.

you're spot on there

ch...ch..CHAVVIER? Do explain! You mean it's not just for posh girls on ponies and horseys bought by Daddy Millionaire?
wink.gif

I promise i do not own one item that could be considered 'bling'. And as for sheepskin - i don't think eventers can really pin all that on show jumpers. They go through a hellova lot of sheep themselves

Lol. this actually made me laugh, a bit like this:

Heh.

I think this is a topic asking for a fight..? Lol.

Although, seen as I am a member of BSJA, and BE, I do much prefer Eventing, because I'm an Adrenalin Junkie, and couldn't possibly live without XC!
Although we do go to Blewbury BSJA every month in winter, and it is rather hellish! It is a good oppurtunity to get them out in winter

Why is it that every showjumper feels the need to have their name on EVERYTHING?
tongue.gif
you know, on the backs of coats, on nummnahs, lorries...

or is that just a irish showjumping phenomenon?

Fact.

I'll get my coat...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, you're right. Happy now?
smirk.gif

(When SC said was it her coat, was that in a "get your coat you've pulled" kind of way, as I don't think she's that kind of girl, no matter what assumptions you've made from the photos.

Chavtastic! Eventers tolerate the dressage and SJ so they can do XC!

That's for when they forget their name! *runs away*

I am possibly the only eventer who also actually ENJOYS showjumping too, and don't just do BSJA to help with my eventing
tongue.gif

Many times have I considered turning to pure showjumping...

im with you too Showjumpers understand that you need to win money as well as spend it (something BE should take note of

I agree with that bit. Just recently i read someone's report where they either won or came 2nd at an event... and won feed vouchers
confused.gif
I'd be bloody livid if i won a class and didn't get cash.

[ QUOTE ]
oh and judging by that photo i saw i didn't think you owned a coat

[/ QUOTE ]

Ahem, I have coats aplenty thankyou - I refer you to Baydale's answer, I am not that kind of girl! I have merely been ruthlessly exploited by someone whom I was grooming for and not even being paid for it (the grooming or the pics, lets face it, cash is cash).

That was me - in Eventing you're just happy to complete in one piece so you're grateful for anything they hand out.

(In fairness the vouchers do amount to about £70 worth of feed so still useful - it's when they give you a dandy brush you get a little bit peeved......!
