Jealous of all the thread for all the stunning breeds I decided to start one for those of us with Heinz 57s - those horses and ponies who probably have a bit of everything in them!

I will start with my gelding Chico, 15.2hh Heinz 57

Even though I owned his dam I had no idea what she was either and trying to get details of his sire is like pulling teeth

Yours Is just lovely, I a jealous xx

Btw I do have a bitsa dog, if that counts, but she has cost me more money in vets bill than any of my weimraners :) £10,000 plus !!!! Ouch

My profile pic is my Heinz-57 lad! (Sorry, can't find the original pic anywhere) He has cob in him somewhere as he has huge feathers if left the their own devices and probably some tb thrown in as he is quick and some appolosa we think as he gets spots in the winter but we have no real idea. All we know is he was imported from Ireland as a 2yo so he could have anything in him! :o

No Idea if I am doing this picture thing right so I apologise in advance if not!
The amount of people that ask me what breed and colour my pony is, and the amount of times I've said "no idea" is hilarious! He has appaloosa colouring, and comes from gypsies, but when you see him move and jump, and ride him, he just SO much quality, and VERY experienced horsey people agree! My instructor got on him (when he was having a horrible day) and immediately got straight back off saying "I'm not riding that, I've never felt anything so alive underneath me!"
His colouring, his size (13.3 and a tincy bit), his conformation etc are all just such a mixture! Would love to know what he does have in him though :P
