Struggling to find any pics of him actually doing dressage but my little highland has a very busy brain and enjoys schooling and working. We are only doing intro at the mo, but trying to get his canter good enough for Prelim next season.
Off to BD Quest Regionals this weekend. Wish us luck

Just updating my pictures as I now have a couple of him actually doing dressage ?

I have a 13.1 Connie who loves a bit of stressage! He is a bit of a plod in the warm up but really steps up a gear and turns on the charm once in the ring! We are hoping to get up to novice soon and have competed at the sunshine tour a couple of times!

Ooh i can play , here's my 14.2 Welsh D. She's secure at Inter 1 level at the moment and we're eyeing up I2 next year. We have got some promising 1 tempis and she's got the idea of piaffe quite well but we're a bit stuck waiting for the passage penny to drop at the moment.

I never thought she'd be up to this work, but she was a project that turned out to be unsellable so we've just kept on training.

She really lowers her hindquarters. She has that lovely 'sit'.

Why limit yourself I had a lovely lesson on a NF who had competed to at least medium. He was lush.

Haha you're right! If I get to elementary I might as well go onto Medium!

Thanks for showing me all of your awesome ponies everyone! I might enter a show to motivate me to get going with him :D :D

This is my NF pony in both of our younger days. He's now thirty and retired in a field so looks more like a hairy yak than a smart dressage pony. He competed successfully up to Elementary but was another who tolerated the dressage and much preferred to jump - he had an amazing pop in him.
My favorite ever comment about him was when I was writing for a judge when my sharer was doing a test on him - I didn't let on he was mine. She said "Oh I do love this little horse. He always does a nice test but he always looks a little bit cross!"IMG007.jpgIMG_1281.jpg
