Show me your mane styles...

So, gradually, over the next couple of weeks, my pony's long mane is to be pulled. I've seen some nice pulled manes, though and some not so nice. Some look cute stood slightly on end, some are straight, whilst others have a curve to them, some look a bit pudding bowl...

... please can I see some samples before I start my hair dressing, so I know what I'm aiming towards?

Well i try to get my boys very think mane to do what i like, but mostly i dont succeed...
I try and aim for something like this (but without the rug rub hehe):

or even these are alright...

except that last one looks a little chopped

But to be honest it usually ends up doing what the hell it likes!
and in the slightest bit of wind turns it into this!

I've been doing my mares mane tonight, got about 3/4 done, i was tired and she had enough and the last 1/4 is very thick and wild, just that bit will take me about as much time as the rest of the mane has, so decided to leave it till tomorrow, but need to finish tomorrow as we're competing on sunday so cant leave it like this! I will take a pic of finished mane tomorrow and post it

Mane?? What's a mane?? My appy has brittle crappy hair that breaks off the moment it grows long enough to see the light of day, which means most of the time he has a baby-fine mohawk.

I did, however see a pony for sale today with a "Dougal" fro which was so adorable but made me laugh so much I spat coffee all over my computer screen.
