This may be a long thread... 
I may be taking the little cob I've started riding to a show next Sunday just to do some in-hand classes, it's only a local charity show so nothing fancy! Anyway, I'm not really sure what classes to enter and how to turn out myself and podge. - I have shown inhand before, but with M&M's not Coblets
He's a 6 year old, 14hh (On his tiptoes) traditional cob and is a little over 'show condition' but we're getting there with his extra exercise regime! So 2 questions about him...
1) His mane was eaten by donkeys in winter
and so it's just growing back, it looks like he's got a double mane as it doesn't go to any side... just straight forwards. SO.. Do I leave it as it is, hog it or try and thin it & plait?
2) I needs some tips for washing as his tail is disgusting! I mean matted with poo! I'm going to wash it tomorrow but is there any secret recipe for detangling poo out?
