Pony went badly in last show, so they go to the next show (which is a championship!) and enter a class 10cm highers then they're used to (Working hunter). Child falls off.

Why would you set your child and pony up to fail like that?!?
 
I think grooms have to wear one, don't quote me though.

Did feel sorry for the poor girl who fell off, bless her and she blames herself.

Some of these kids need to do a bit of mounted games get them a bit more secure.

I'm not into showing really but I would guess it's because she will going into the ring to help strip the pony down, hats need to be worn to show respect to the judges I think.

Can anyone confirm that?
 
I like watching the ponies. Then again I like watching most things on normal tv with horses in but think other than the family with the autistic son (think its lovely to see how horses help with his autism) it kind of comes across as a lot of posh people with a lot of money and would probably be a bit stereotypical to watch if I didn't have horses
 
Probably wearing a hat because she had been working the pony in, behind the box for 3 hours before darling child got on it.
