Firstly: I took on board all advice given to me in previous thread re plaiting, I cut his mane 2" shorter, and decided to plait down last night, and rolled up this morning. I bought some Lynn Russell Quick Plait which is AMAZING! They looked much better, although I think for the big shows coming up I will plait in the morning

Anyway anyway anyway....!
He was totally chilled today! We won the inhand riding pony class, and then the part bred class! Which means we qualified for Royal London! He was against some stiff competition, at one point the judge couldn't decide and made two of us trot round again!
Also got reserve champion! Pipped to the post (and our first sash!) by a stunning coloured colt. Didn't stay for the supremes as it wasn't until late this afternoon and he had been good all day!
PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT!
I'm over the moon with him, my mum cried when we pulled in reserve champ! Lots more compliments from judge and spectators! He was a star, and stood up for the judge today, not so much pratting around!
