Thanks everyone - killing me today because even a week ago she was bouncing around annoying me while I was working from home. Wanting to sit on my seat and needing the back door opened every time I went on a call despite having a perfectly good cat flap. I just keep looking for her. All my other cats have lived until their late teens and it seems really unfair she didn't get more time. She had such a zest for life and it went so, so quickly.

Not helped by the bill coming through (done very sensitively) and also More Than settling her insurance claim and I know that there's still last week's cost to add on to it but I can't quite bring myself to sort it out right now.

What a pretty little cat. For what it's worth, you were entirely right to say no to investigations, even if she hadn't gone downhill. If it doesn't change the outcome, there is no point. My vet was amazing in that she didn't even do b.p checks or blood tests on Annie for the last two years. She was holding weight, seemed happy and we wouldn't have changed anything if the bloods showed something new, anyway. Big hugs.x
