I’ve only once offered my chap a banana, leaving it peeled on the stable floor for him when he came in - I was not expecting the response that we got, it was akin to the cat vs cucumber YouTube clips 😂 … haven’t dared to try again for fear of the vets bills it might cause!

My mare in Africa would frisk you for bananas. She ate the peal. Jams like the banana and not the peal.

Yesterday the Flying Farmer and I went for a walk in the Dales and when we were at the top of a very long, steep hill, I dished out the bananagy. He was mouth-open astounded when I, without thinking, gave some to the pocket Labrador, who wolfed it down with relish before helping herself to his 🤣🤣, as he looked at me, open mouthed, banana in hand. I always give my dogs bits of banana. I wasn't thinking. I think I've started something now.🤣🤣

lily will eat all of it, but only once it’s peeled, her highness likes them separate.
she also only likes fresh, ripe bananas - no brown ones for her thankyou.

to conclude, she’s very high maintenance and is absolutely no help to reducing waste of bananas!😂
