When I was there instead of Scone the 90 class didn't start till 12. The nice manny there now says you can phone his mobile to see what class they are on. Its not really mobbed to be honest well wasn't when I was there but its one of those you're either lucky or not!!

Nah I'm fine no need to badger me out ma comfort zone as when your eyes are shut they are all the same height!! lol :D:D:D

Hmmm... I get the feeling I may not have enough enthusiasm/time to hang around for 2nd 90cm class then! Bit tricky though as if it's quiet and I call up at 9.30am to hear "we're dead quiet", it doesn't allow much time to load up pony, drive 40mins, sign up and tack up/warm up!

I'll probably just head over for 10ish anyway and can spend the time blethering to bogpony and pretending the jumps will all stay at that height all day...! :D
 
FJ if you don't behave I'll talk shouty man into coming over that day at Rowallan - he's EXTREMELY sneaky at putting fences up when you're not watching! You'll be popping 1.15m and wondering what the hell happened when you're cooling off walking past fences that are definitely bigger than the 'it's only 1.05m, get on with it' that you've been told...
 
Now I'm having second thoughts lol!

Maybe one of you brave SJ's wants to ride fat, hairy coblets over some bigger jumps to prove to him and me that it can be done lol! Any volunteers?

Told me course was 1m, then after said "Well, actually... that upright was 1.10m and the back rail of the spread 1.15m". :eek: :eek: :eek:

FC- shouty man is Jen's SJ trainer! I've not experienced him in shouty man mode yet... not sure I want to!

Babybear- mine is a hairy coblet (although not fat at the moment, poor hard done by thing :rolleyes: ) so yet another "no excuse" from me! :p We'll employ shouty man tactics on you too! ;) On a serious note, it is just a fun get together and everyone is welcome to do as much or as little as they like. :)

Shouty Man is Jens trainer, I assume, she's never actually admitted that!

I will also be slotting in somewhere between the pole on the ground & 1.10. Preferably closer to the former!

What a wuss, God & to think I've jumped NC!
 
Shouty man is indeed my trainer. He's also my YO, owner of the baby horsey that I've been working with since January, and fairly often agony uncle when out hacking lol! To be fair he actually doesn't shout much when he's teaching (unless it's a spectacular cock up!), but you hear him before you see him on the yard as FJ and the few others on here who know him will testify!

Okay thanks for that. However, I now have this image in my head of a small rounded man with big reddy ruddy cheeks who pops out of nowhere with one of those caption bubbles coming out his mouth with @~!!# in it whilst bunging the fences up 5 holes!! lol

Apolgies to the shouty man for my vivid imagination!!:D

Thanks FC I just snorted and nearly fell off my chair - always good in a quiet office! I'm not going to be able to look him in the eye tonight ha ha!
