I was accosted on my street today by a guy in his 60's yesterday.

I was waking Abe on the other side of the street and the guy shouted for me to come over. So thinking that he wanted to pet Abe like every other person on the street I walked over.

He proceeded to say to me "look here young lady you can't keep that pit-bull around here"

I bit my tongue trying not to laugh and simply replied "sir he is not a pit bull he is an Australian shepherd"

He went on to tell me that they are the same thing and "people sell them as anything nowadays"

OK old guy OK. Let me go walk my "pitbull"
