Sitting here quite sad actually.

This might be total rubbish, and I haven't read the original threads properly, BUT could this be mainly because we have got to March, when everyone is tired from having horses in? It reminds me of times when me and the sister have had blazing rows over very little because we were both knackerd. It still happ0ens a bit, but we both know why now and bite tongues more. I think this is possibly a bit of the same with every-one feeling touchy.:)

100% agree with you HH.
I would always rather say what I feel and stand up for what I believe is right and risk having names sush as bully thrown in my direction than keep quiet - especially when it is a safety issue, in which case you NEED to say what you think or could end up being very sorry.

In this whole thing, I really think that no bullying has taken place - I think as with the how much post, people have stated what they feel and when it differs from what FMN thinks, a disagreement occurs over who is right or wrong - simple forum banter in which all parties state their cases aswell as the others. Certainly don't see where the bullying in this is

FF I am a 17year old girl who has made some huge mistakes horse wise because I thought I was an ace rider, I think I over horsed myself with Oshk, he could have been btter with more experience on him but luckily I am getting there.
EVERY word you have spoken is truthful, I have had critigue off you and can honestly say you know your stuff, its not dressed up like some people like it, ill give you that, but you are getting the same point across, why does it matter?
You have given me some useful pointers, and I love you, you cant go, one of the people on HHO who actually stands their ground when people disagree.

I find all this strangely exciting and totally confusing. I only know one member here very well (there maybe more but I haven't discovered that they use this yet!), and I think it is a wonderful forum for finding out information because there are so many people out there that know such a lot and are willing to share that experience. There are also a lot of people that don't know such a lot, but have had the particular experience that is relevant to a particular question.

Having seen this thread curiosity abounds, but it is hard to find the start of it all. I find it hard to understand why people get upset when advice is offered, very rarely have I seen anything directed in a vindictive way, but it is hard to see round the clique unless you are a clique member yourself. I dive in and dive out, offering (possibly unwanted!) advice and asking advice when I need it (what more could I ask for when I don't deal with other horsey people on a daily (or even monthly!) basis). I am glad to say I have always received interesting offerings, but possibly I never put myself in a position to invite ridicule because I am a wimp that way!! I enjoy the forum and the advice it offers because the variety of people is huge and the experience equally so. It also gives me a way of finding out what my friend is up to (you know who you are!!) as I gather this is her preferred method of communication. It is easy to take things personally when it is typed out, all emotion and expression is removed, and although sometimes it is obvious that a dig is being made, the majority of the time it is just an unfortunate way of expressing something rather than a specific dig; or the assumption had been made that when someone has said they want honest criticism about something they actually do. Now that really is a hard one to get round. I can only say, thanks for the offerings that have been made to me as they have been invaluable. I love being able to come into the forum if I have a specific question, or have some time to kill. Sometimes I am in every night for a few days, other times it is weeks between logging in, but thankfully it is always there and people are always willing to respond to a post!

Fair enough if you feel you want to leave, but you do have to remember that if you make a point of being blunt and speaking your mind, you do have to realise that you will sometimes get negative responses to your posts! If you believe what you did was right then surely you defend your opinions rather than leaving the forum because you can't stand the heat of the replies
