Sizing of Premier Equine rugs....

Horse is normally in a 6 ,6 in Weatherbeeta or Horseware and have heard that P E rugs come up quite big and to drop a size. Can anyone advise please.

Yes, I find they are generous and have a 6 3 on a normal 6 6 horse.

Hmm, I would say they are true to size, but nice and deep. I have a few horses in them and they wear the same size as they did in Amigo rugs. Definitely more generous around the chest, different cut to Weatherbeeta. Love the necks.

My horse who suited a Weatherbeeta didn't suit them at all.

They came up bigger in some areas, far too deep and nearly reached his knees but too tight round the shoulders. Also found the Amigo rugs came up small and too tight round the shoulders for this horse.

My finely boned 15.1hh Thoroughbred is normally in a 6 foot rug, but I have her in a 5"9 sweet itch buster and it's still slightly on the big side!

My lad is normaly a large 6.6 or a small 6.9 his PE rug is a 6ft6 and fits beautifully however he is very broad so the depth realy suited him!

My 15.2 TB usually wears 6ft3 but 6ft for PE rugs fits beautifully

Mine are usually 6'9 but the PE's are 6'6 and still slightly big!

I bought a 6'6" for my mare who usually wears Rambo. I had heard brilliant reviews and liked the neck design so decided to give it a go. 3 days and it had rubbed her shoulders :-(

My boy (15.3 TB) usuallly wears a 6' rug, but bought a 5'9" in the bug buster as id heard the same. It fits perfectly

Definitely smaller then, my mare is a warmblood so big shouldered. Will go for a 6'3' thanks

My welsh a is 5ft in rugs but 4'9 in pe, they are very generous on him...

I think PE is true to size ... Everything else comes up small

If you currently use weatherbeeta then I'd probably go a size down for PE based on the PEs & weatherbeetas that I've got.

My boy is 6.6 in Fal, Bucas and PE. Stuck him in a 6.9 LW as it was on sale though and it still fits,!

Horse is ISH, but think more like a heavier TB than ID.

Mine wears 6'9 normally so I bought a 6'9 Premier Equine and yes, its too big really!

I bought a PE rug for my arab, it drowned him! came almost to his knees! Had to send it back, which was a shame as it was a beautiful rug.
