I thought I'd resurrect this thread with the lantern festivals planned to go ahead this summer in both London and Birmingham.
Does anyone know if there are any new petitions where we can complain.
Maybe those more local to them can share any campaigns that we can support with.

They are banned in Wales

I don't know yet about any new petitions. TBH I thought sky lanterns had been banned already, as haven't had same problems locally over recent past.

Sadly, 45,000 people signed up thinking that sending these pestilential things into the sky is an ok thing to do ...
