Dorey fell asleep last night for the last time. A complete and utter shock and surprise to us all. PM is currently inconclusive.

ATM the vets findings contradict what I found in her stable. I'd have said heart attack or brain heamorage as she was lying down with no signs of struggle.

The vet doesn't seem to think that should have happened...

Whatever happened, there is no sign she struggled for which I am pleased. But I'd never in a million years expected to open my stable door to a pony fast asleep like that

Worst bit was because I found her, I must have waited hours for her to wake up. It sounds so very stupid but seemed the right thing to do at the time.

Ended up making myself sick instead of achieving anything mind...
