Sleep Well Andy

I'm really sorry for your loss.
I've read your threads from before you got him and can see how much work and love you put into Andy.

Beautiful photos x

I have always followed yours and Andy's progress and how much you struggled with him when you first got him. But now he has Transformed into an unrecognisable horse and you should be so proud of what you have made him. when you first got him he wasn't much to look because of the poor condition and now looking at those photos he is such a credit to you. i don't know what is the latest and why you had to have him PTS, but he has gone out in such style and has more dignity than he has ever had. he is up in that grassy paddock in the sky with Milton, Stroller and all the other amazing horses and one day you will be together again!!!

I am so sorry, you did the right thing for him and as heartbreaking as it is he is no longer suffering....

Massive hugs its taken alot of guts todo what you have done today..

(((HUGS)))

Wow, those a beautiful photos. Really powerful in the circumstances.

RIP Andy and hugs to you for your bravery and dignity throughout all this.

Feeling weird today. I don't feel like he's gone I'm still expecting to go to the yard and see him but for the time being I'm refusing to go to his yard as that's where it happened. Thankfully him and Louie are at different yards.

I think that's natural, but will get better. Completely get about not being able to go back to the yard though. Easier said than done, but try and stay busy and keep reminding yourself that it was the best decision for Andy, and be proud that you made it for him

I've not been on here for ages and this was a total shock to read this.
Like others I followed the two of you and your progress and my heart just breaks for you reading this.
He was stunning.
RIP Andy - youre in some good company over the bridge xx

So sorry for your loss, I tend to dip in and out of the forum and on seeing the stunning photos of your horse, thought that he looked so well. Why did he have to be put to sleep? Apologies, as I must have missed a huge section about his health previously in other posts. xxx
