Can anyone out there help. Since buying my horse last April he has had sloppy poos. He was very ill due to grade 3 ulcers which were treated with gastrogard. Since that time I have tried to put weight on him which he ha/7 s done with the help of saracen nutritionists. I have put him on just about every ulcer supplement on the market and thought I had it sussed as his droppings were just about normal for a week recently but then for not apparent reason have gone like cow pats again. Some of the things I have tried are, coligone, pink powder, ulcergard, ulcereaze, l- glutamine, diareze, even charcoal. he is turned out 24 7 unless it is dia weather, he always has food available and is fed before being ridden as advised by nutritionists and vets but alas he still has sloppy poos. apart from that he performs well and doesnt appear to have ulcers. he could do with putting a bit more weight on though. he is fed three times a day and is on releve and equijewel , beet and coligone powder and some chaff by simple systems.
