So, I happened to be looking at the forecast for South East and it said heavy snow most of the day! I have a lesson tomorrow and if it is canceled I'll be quite disappointed. Still though this isn't reeeally a complaint, as I could have a lot more to worry about! :) :)

I'm so fed up of this weather. It's snowing here now but it's just wet and slushy. It either needs to disappear completely and dry up, or snow LOADS so I can at least take some pretty pictures :o :D

Hope your lesson isn't cancelled :)

Here in Flintshire yo had to walk 2 ponies 3 miles home cos they needed feed 3 times day and couldn't walk there an back 3 times so brought them home.. They were good walked along pavement trotting along happily..

That's it, adding an extra coat and wearing 2 pairs of tights under my jeans as well as the 3 jumpers and 2 coats I'm currently wearing and taking a hip flask to the yard :(

Nothing but sodding rain here, but it's cold and I have run out of heating fuel and as I can't be bothered to go and get some I have made the dog lay at my feet!!:D

Well Im from mid lands, it snowed all last night about 4 inches this morning then stopped for about 5 hours and since 4 tonight its not stopped coming down thick and fast with gale force winds for an added extra sticking well too!
Its just so inconvenient no matter how pretty it takes 3 x as long to do things!

I agree with this! It has to be pretty or it isn't worth it! And thank you, I hope it won't be cancelled!

Its not just the snow, but a cutting east wind that nearly knocks you over, even house pets, dog and cats are getting fed up now!

Plain pretty snow is one thing, even through we have to dig out, this wind is icy even frozen up the door of house, and it is picking up the snow, blowing and making drifts, in all the exposed places.

Spring must come soon, was it really in the 20's this time last year!

Arrrggghhh just looked out and the ground is white. Only a thin covering so far but still too much. I had a lesson today just as it started getting windy and started snowing as well. It was miserable for both me and horse and I don't think the RI was having much fun either.
I'm supposed to collect my son from Birmingham tomorrow but with a rear wheel drive car he will have to wait if it's no better.
Watched the news earlier and it looked awful further north and in Staffs. Keep safe everyone. Seriously, this is too much!

plenty of the white stuff here at 8am this morning!:D

Flaming fed up with it. Roll on proper spring - and a hot summer with us moaning about over heating horses - chestnuts with sunburn and so forth. Fed up with mud, snow, shedding equine and canines ... Apologises my mini-rant is now over :-D

Ah well, something other than rain to moan about eh?

The weather is like childbirth, nothing you can do about it, it is going to happen whether you want it to or not.

So, heads down, shovels out and kick on with it, it'll go soon enough :)

I've had snow on the ground since Christmas, and out West they've had it since October

Here you are:

Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not.

Snowing 5 miles south of Canterbury. Hope it stays light as its granddads funeral at 9.30, but I fear not as I can't see where the earth finishes and sky starts!
