Pigeon

They didn't have micronised, so got some oil. Pony won't eat it. And when I say won't eat it, I mean snorting at the bucket, rolling his eyes and running to the back of the stable. I got very excited when his bucket was empty this morning, but turns out he's just tipped it all into his water.
I love him to pieces, but really! It's like trying to make a child eat vegetables.
Do I persevere, and just give him a little drip of it until he eats it and then increase, at the risk of wasting all his food and supplements? Or do I make a separate feed with just linseed and chaff, even though without the oats etc it will be less appetising. Has anyone's horse come round to something they (very dramatically) wouldn't eat at first? How long did it take? D:
As an aside, he is going BEAUTIFULLY at the moment, so I am forgiving his eating habits for now
