Well at 10pm on Friday night a friend said she was going to a show on Sat and did I want to take one of my boys along. Friend was taking her mare so I desided it would be best to take Merryn
I washed his mane and tail at 7am Sat morning and got him all ready to go. We were ment to be leaving at 8:30 but friend wasn't ready till 9:05.
I lead Merryn to the lorry wondering if he would load. The only time we have put him in the lorry was almost 2 years ago when we went to pick him up. I needent have worried as he barged me out the way in his rush to get into the lorry.
Then friends mare refused to go in.
I waited and my hopes of going to the show were slipping away, when finaly at about 9:45 the mare went in.
We set off in abit of a hurry as our classes were at 10:30. Luckly the show was just up the road. so not far to travel. But the journy wasn't good due to rushing and Merryn crashed around abit.
We arrived at the show and jumped out to go and enter while the lorry was parked. I rushed back to the lorry, got Merryn off and hurried to the ring as his class was about to start.
I took him into the new forest 4 years and over inhand class. It was a big class. Merryn walked round like a star. Trotted when we were ment to and stood still when I asked him.
We came last, The judge said he was abit tucked up. I explained all the stress and said I also had to keep him in a slim condition as he was a laminitic. (The class was full of obiece ponies many verging on laminitas
So I was fully expecting to come last) I'm still so very proud of MrMerryn he was so well behaved and I couldn't have asked anymore of him. It was asif he had been showing his whole life
He loaded like a star to come home as well
I love the orange one so much. He's not bad for a freebe

A little video of Merryn at the show.
