Orvus paste shampoo is the go to for the Connie and ID showing crowd here in the home land. Congrats on your purchase, he's lovely.

Best thing I can recommend is Touch of Silver shampoo for ladies with grey hair - makes their coats really silvery and pretty. For stain removing? Fairy liquid for bathing and Cowboy Magic spot stain remover.

But mine lives most of her life as the skewbald she wishes she was, and only gets cleaned when necessary.

From decades of grey ID hunters. ..
NAF Tea tree shampoo (the pink stuff) for removing grubbiness
Horse Health Diamond White shampoo for whiteness
Snuggy Hoods
And don't let his tail get stained - keep it clean enough otherwise you'll be stuffed.

The Great White has turned out to be an absolute gem. Such a lovely person, with a cheeky personality that took a while to come out, but now makes us snigger on a daily basis.
Currently dealing with a grumbling abscess, which I think is nearly done, so looking forward to some summer fun with him.
Clipped him out with him loose in the stable, let the hog grow out, and have been forced to eat my words about him not being handsome!
Love him to bits!

As you might hear said in Ireland (and definitely meant in a complimentary way) - he's a fine lump of a horse !

His breeding puts him in the Royalty class of ID breeding, for both performance and temperament.

My ID boy only gave me white socks to deal with, thankfully, but the best thing I found to bring them up sparkly was Swarfega which is great at greasy dirt removal and also safe on skin. Probably no practical for an all over body wash though :)

Like mine, yours looks always keen to help around the yard, opening doors, picking up sweeping brushes etc. Wishing you many years of enjoyment with him.

I've developed a bit of an obsession. His tail came out of winter a disgusting shade of yellowy orangey brown, so I've spent the last week trying all sorts of things to get it white again

Today I tried something new. Provoke Go Ashy, which is basically Touch of Silver, but with black and blue pigment as well as purple. Absolute game changer!

I have discovered that he's got a lot of black and chestnut hair in his tail, so I think this is as good as its going to get
