So I will be picking Toby up tomorrow. His stable is all ready, got to pick up a few more bits before I leave to get him.
To say I am scared is an understatement. Earlier in the week, I was beginning to feel quite relaxed with it, but now its hit me!!
To top it off, my friend who's horse needed scoping for strangles had the worse news. He has strangles and is also likely to be carrier! She pretty much broke down when she told me. I could bearly keep her focused!! She is so scared of being chucked off the yard, but really, its not her fault if all the other horses have it, the YO isn't particularly strict with the isolation period, and everyone on the yard is now kicking off!! I feel so bad, and it has proper spooked me!!
I think she is going to continue with treatment, and hope her horse pulls through OK, but I have no idea what the YO's plans are?
