We've had lots of posts about our fields being 12inches deep with mud, so I thought I'd do a cheery one for a change!
My field is DRY! Infact, when I rode in it yesterday there was dust, as opposed to mud splatters, coming from the ground. My horses are coming in from the field no longer sporting the hock-high brown stockings. I can walk across the field in trainers. I can walk my dogs without having to bath them when we get back.
Yes, there may not be much (any?!) grass, and it may still feel around -100 out there, but its DRY!!!
Anyone else, or am I one of the extremely lucky ones who is going to get stoned for making this post?!
