can be glossed over.. he did nothing wrong, but i guess a rather flat test, to score a 42, which i thought was a little harsh, but then i guess that's what you get for not trying (although he's been pretty consistant with scores in the early 30's up till now, maybe a harsh judge)..

SJing..

hmmm not sure what to say here.. we had 3 down

one was out and out my fault! but the other two with a bit of both of us.. i got crap strides into everything, but he wasn't exactly helping much! oh well, i know his SJing is not a problem, so am not worried too much by it!

XC

It was huge i felt for a PN (just ask CCJ
wink.gif
) he's been very green XC up till his last event at Charlton Park, when he thought he knew what he was doing.. well yesterday he really knew what he was doing!! He's suddenly developed a huge gallop stride, and although there were a couple of fences that i came back to trot for (as i don't have much brakes or steering) he flew round clear with only 1.2 time faults..
I see him being quite strong next season
crazy.gif
and he thinks he's not far off doing a novice

Only trouble is, there was a woman there who thought she might like to buy him!

why do they have to be sold when they are going so well.

I was starting to make plans for him next season!

Well done. Shame about the SJing, much just of been an off round. XC sounds good though well done. Fingers crossed this lady doesn't like him, so you can keep him for next year.

I think i'd like more brakes for team chasing!!

not sure where the monster with-in has come from, but he's suddenly decided that he wants to gallop and play at being Thomas the Tank engine!!

I saw him over the first few and last fences, and he certainly flies!
All the dressage judges seemed pretty harsh yesterday, I often wonder if thay all have a coffee before they start and decide to do it.

I was watching one horse compete with a propfessional rider and the owner said he has never got lower than a 29 previously, I thought it was a lovely test yet it got 36.I can normally guess within a mark of what a test gets, and I would mentally remove about 7 marks off your score..
I can't see him staying unsold for long..If we hadn't got so many horses C would have loved him!

MDM, I thought your folks had decided not to sell? Is it a case of, if someone is interested and makes an offer, he has to go? I hope you get to keep him. He sounds like he is going to be a super chap once he's over his green phase

I did, i said i'd give him the horse for free if he gave me the DB9, but he said he'd need some change too haha

yeah, everything's for sale here.. even me at the right price i'm sure
crazy.gif

hehe why does that not surprise me!! it wasn't an Aston DB9 tho was it!

He's entered at Aldon, and will obviously run if he's not sold, but we've now got 3 people fighting over him.. so who knows what might happen
