My two boys had really tough, good, healthy feet. On monday we moved them to our new property only to find that the week before the move the field had been drilled for bore holes and so tractors and plant had been all over it. Most of the 2.5 arce paddock is mud. since moving the boys their strong feet has become very soft. When you pick their feet out the sole is white and soft and comes away with the hoof pick. What can I do/feed to help protect their feet. They are currently electric fenced onto a 20 x 40 metre sized patch when there is only limited mud - the grass that is still standing is good grass so its very frustraiting. I dont have stables to stand them in. Any advice/reccomendations?
